Religious Transformation: Threat to India

-Bhagyatushar

Everyone in this country has the right to practice their own religious habits. But forcing them on others is not tolerable and also unconstitutional.  No one here is opposing any religion but Hindus have the moral right to be a Hindu and keep other Hindus a ‘Hindu’. We don’t have any problem what and how the christens practices their rituals…how the muslims do this but we have problem when they forces us to do so. That may be by force or by sweet (?) words.

Hindu cultural comments everyone there good life and good fortune. Religious transformation is very serious threat to our nation. As the belief changes, as the temples of worship and devotees changes the place of worship also changes. For example muslim has their worship with Mecca and Madina and if a call comes from mecca that all the Muslims should attack on India…then do every Indian Muslim guarantees that he would disobey the orders from Mecca and protect us from their non Indian brothers . We can also say this about the Christens, if the pop orders the same order then do every Indian christens assures that he would protect us from their non Indian brothers.

My dear Hindu brothers please think about this… transformation from Hindus to any other religion is very big hazard to us and as well as to our nation. Most of the part of North East Indian has transformed to christens, so called missionaries had done their job perfectly under the name of help. Please try to understand this and be alert… join us to stop this !

Why Hindus are transformed?
-Bhagyatushar
From many years several of people are trying to stop the transformation of Hindus but unfortunately the problem is not reduced nor there much awakening about this. The rate of transformation is increasing day after day. And nor Hindus nor and Govt. is identifying it as a threat to the nation. Yes it is a fundamental right of everyone to practice their own rituals and religious habits. But forcing them on others is not allowable. The base of transformation is the habitual caste practice of Hindus and here others get the ready way for their achievements.

Yes many people are obviously working by their heart core to stop this transformation…but have we seen in our society where the real root cause exists. Yes we have seen, many are working on it no doubt but the question arises what is the results of the sacrifices done by these people. It is that much expected result. I think no !! Common man who only works and eat does not have any consideration about this, means what is religious transformation and why it is done. Why so many Hindus are transformed in christens. No... I can also say that these common people have no ideas about all this mess of transformation.

There are also some facts that we have to fight on two stages one is to stop this and another is to flourish and nourish the Hindu society. To examine the root cause. Yes it is true that our religion is mighty one, full of living philosophy and many more. But do it look like this. NO a big NO. First we have to flourish and glamour the great features of our religion then only we could stop the people from transformation.

Yes we have some rituals that should be discarded; god is not said god unless he has the devotees. But we have many gods and millions of devotees still we can’t save our god. But I think it is another reason that we have many ‘GODS’ to pray and praise. At last multiple choices gives multiple think line and leads to divert the base believe.

Abolition of caste
Given below is an English translation of Savarkar’s assorted views on abolition of caste

The basic aim of consolidating Hindu society
The Hindu social jurists had based social organization on the principle of distribution of duties sans competition and mutual co-operation as means to attain earthly prosperity on the path to salvation of the soul. The duties of every individual from the shudra to the Brahmin were defined to facilitate societal development. But fighting spirit (kshaatratej) is necessary to fulfill these duties properly and to protect social life. (Samagra Savarkar vangmaya, Vol. 6, p.522)

The practice of caste and consolidation of Hindu society
Firstly, it should not be forgotten that the practice of birth-based caste division must have been responsible for the mighty consolidation and amazing stability of the Hindu society under certain circumstances and conditions. While evaluating its merits and demerits, it will be sheer ingratitude to only point fingers at the latter day ill-effects of the institution of caste.
It must also be admitted that keeping the interests of the Hindu Nation at heart, the Hindus of yesteryears gave birth to or allowed birth- based caste divisions to develop spontaneously with the aim of preserving the purity of blood ties, community life and tradition. (1963, Sahaa soneri pane or Six Glorious Epochs of Indian History; Samagra Savarkar vangmaya, Vol. 4, p. 710)
Birth-based caste system as an experiment in the science of heredity
Considering its sheer magnitude, the amazing diligence and the epochal time-frame over which this inspirational experiment was played out, the human race should be certainly grateful to this great experiment played by birth-based caste system to find out the extent to which natural laws of heredity may possibly benefit the human race. Assuming that the experiment temporarily failed due to its extreme practice or distortion, it is no mean achievement to prove that such an experiment failed in such a form and under such conditions. By thus failing in this great experiment of the caste system, our Hindu race enriched human experience and has thereby succeeded in earning the gratitude of the human race; such was the scientific outlook and thought, sheer guts and amazing diligence at the root of this experiment. (1931, Jatyuchchedak nibandha or essays on abolition of caste, Samagra Savarkar vangmaya, Vol. 3, p. 457)

The meaning of ‘chaturvarnya mayaa srishtam’ (‘I have created the chaturvarnya system’)
Chaturvarnya means the four varnas (* the word varna is virtually untranslatable. It denotes the old Hindu idea of a four-tiered society with an intellectual or spiritual class called the Brahmins; the ruling, political or warrior class called the Kshatriyas; the merchant or commercial class called the Vaishyas and the servant or service-oriented class called the Shudras. They represent the four human tendencies of learning, fighting, trading and serving). These four varnas were determined by merit and actions and not by birth… ‘Chaturvarnya mayaa srishtam’ means ‘I have created the chaturvarnya system’. Nowhere in this shloka (by Sri Krishna in the Bhagwad Gita) is any there any suggestion whatsoever, that He gives birth to people on basis of merit and that this perpetuates on basis of birth in a particular family. .. The smritis clearly say, ‘janmanaa jaayate shudraha’ or ‘everyone is a shudra at birth’. It is only after imbibing samskaras that one attains the status of the twice-born (meaning Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya). (1930, Jatyuchchedak nibandha or essays on abolition of caste, Samagra Savarkar vangmaya, Vol. 3, p. 444)
….The present-day caste division has arisen from the debris of the chaturvarnya of yore. (1930, Jatyuchchedak nibandha or essays on abolition of caste, Samagra Savarkar vangmaya, Vol. 3, p. 449)

I felt like rebelling against the caste system
Just as I felt I should rebel against the foreign rule over Hindusthan, I also felt that I should rebel against the caste system and untouchability in Hindusthan. (1920, Letters from the Andamans, Samagra Savarkar vangmaya, Vol. 5, p. 490)

Discrimination against India's lowest Hindu castes is technically illegal. But try telling that to the 160 million Untouchables, who face violent reprisals if they forget their place.

Get a taste of what awaits you in print from this compelling excerpt.

The sins of Girdharilal Maurya are many, his attackers insisted. He has bad karma. Why else would he, like his ancestors, be born an Untouchable, if not to pay for his past lives? Look, he is a leatherworker, and Hindu law says that working with animal skins makes him unclean, someone to avoid and revile. And his unseemly prosperity is a sin. Who does this Untouchable think he is, buying a small plot of land outside the village? Then he dared speak up, to the police and other authorities, demanding to use the new village well. He got what Untouchables deserve.
One night, while Maurya was away in a nearby city, eight men from the higher Rajput caste came to his farm. They broke his fences, stole his tractor, beat his wife and daughter, and burned down his house. The message was clear: Stay at the bottom where you belong.
* * * * * *
To be born a Hindu in India is to enter the caste system, one of the world's longest surviving forms of social stratification. Embedded in Indian culture for the past 1,500 years, the caste system follows a basic precept: All men are created unequal. The ranks in Hindu society come from a legend in which the main groupings, or varnas, emerge from a primordial being. From the mouth come the Brahmans—the priests and teachers. From the arms come the Kshatriyas—the rulers and soldiers. From the thighs come the Vaisyas—merchants and traders. From the feet come the Sudras—laborers. Each varna in turn contains hundreds of hereditary castes and subcastes with their own pecking orders.
A fifth group describes the people who are achuta, or untouchable. The primordial being does not claim them. Untouchables are outcasts—people considered too impure, too polluted, to rank as worthy beings. Prejudice defines their lives, particularly in the rural areas, where nearly three-quarters of India's people live. Untouchables are shunned, insulted, banned from temples and higher caste homes, made to eat and drink from separate utensils in public places, and, in extreme but not uncommon cases, are raped, burned, lynched, and gunned down.

Questions and Answers (Regarding Savarkar’s Thinks)
This section deals with various aspects of Savarkar’s life, thought, actions and relevance in a question and answer format. Questions are raised regarding Savarkar and his place in Indian history. Some of these questions stem from genuine curiosity and willingness to understand. Some questions take the form of accusations born out of outright ignorance or sheer malice. This section aims to address some of these questions.

What were Savarkar’s guiding principles?
Humanism, rationalism, utility and pragmatism were the guiding principles of Savarkar. According to him, the ultimate aim of all politics was formation of a world state.  Nationalism, according to him should be consistent with humanism.  “The Hindus will become free and will liberate the world for the protection of equality, kindness and the righteous people’’ wrote Savarkar, in “aika bhavishyala”, his last poem.  For Savarkar, humanity included Hindus too. He used to flay the Congress leaders who shed tears for Abyssinia but did not have even a word for the Hindus suffering Muslim atrocities. To him, service of man was service of God.

What were Savarkar’s views on scriptures?
Savarkar held that all scriptures are man made and not God sent and one should look at them not in a literal but historical sense. All were made in a particular stage to promote human welfare. We should look not only at them but even at notions of very primitive tribes like the Andamanese with a similar view.
 Top
What were Savarkar’s views on Manusmriti?
Savarkar has listed his thoughts on Manusmriti during 1933 to 1935 and then again in 1956.
In 1933, during the festivities of Ganeshotsav and Navratri, he delivered lectures on the Manusmriti for nine days. "Women in Manusmriti" was the title of four articles that Savarkar wrote in 1933. These were published in the progressive Marathi monthly "Kirloskar". Savarkar's article titled, "Excess of religious simple-mindedness" was published in February 1937 issue of 'Kirloskar'. There is also an article by Savarkar entitled "Which is the true Sanatana Dharma?" In short, Savarkar says, "It is impossible to live acording to Manusmriti today because times have changed and the rules in the book are not applicable for all times...Manusmriti, just like any other religious text, contains many contradictions. If we regard Manusmriti as divine, we cannot explain the contradictions. However, if we regard it as a historical document, we can easily explain the contradictions. Savarkar openly differs with several things recommended in the Manusmriti. For example, Manu says that one should not marry girls who are named after constellations, trees, rivers, mountains, serpents, servants or monsters. Savarkar comments that "our conservative friends would now realize how impossible it is to abide by the rules of Manu and regard his commands as valid for all times. He further says that it is absurd to impose greatness on such texts. That attempt is laughable and prohibits progress.
In his article, "Women in Manusmriti", Savarkar says, "We may find many passages in Manusmriti which can provide valuable guidance to today's problems. but we should accept them because they are beneficial today, not because they were found in an ancient text and certainly not because manu's orders are not to be transgressed. Whatever we find in Manusmriti to be harmful or ridiculous today should not be followed, but that does not make Manusmriti harmful or ridiculous. On the contrary, when compares Manusmriti with codes of other societies such as Babylon, Egypt, Hebrews, Greece and Roman, Manusmriti stands high above the rest. It deserves our respect for that"

The Path Of Progress For India:

Speech By Swami Vivekanand:

The appreciation you have shown for the little work have done in the west is only an indication if the tremendous approbation that spiritual giants that are to come in future will get from the nation. India is a land of religion. “We are fated by divine providence to play the spiritual note in this family of nation, & it rejoices me to see that we have not lost the grand traditions which have been handed down to us by the most glorious forefathers, of whom any nation can be proud.” We should become active & dispel the idea that we have degenerated at all.

The complaint has just been made that European materialism has well-nigh swamped us. If it is so, the fault is our own. A large section of the country is Mohammedan & Christen. Why did happen? Because we did not show sufficient sympathy and bestow any attention to the poor & the down-trodden. On the other hand, think of the last six or seven hundred years of degradation, when grown-up men by hundreds ha been discussing for years whether we should drink a glass of water with the right hand or the left, whether the hands should be washed three times or six! What can we except from men who pass their livesin discussing such momentous questions like these & writing most learned philosophies on them.

There is danger of religion becoming kitchen-based. We are neither Vedantists, nor Pauranics  nor Tantrik. We are first and foremost ‘don’t-touchist. Our religion is in the kitchen. Our God is the cooking pot and our religion is ‘Don’t touch me. I am holy.’ This state of affairs has to change. “Vyasa says that giving alone is the one work in this kali yuga, and of all gifts, giving spiritual life is the highest gift possible. The next gift is secular knowledge. The next, saving of the life of man, and the last, giving food to the needy. If  we follow this law for twenty five years, all our problem will be solved.”

Dear Hindu Youths!

-Bhagyatushar

Many of us have the big question that, what we can do for our nation. There are many circumstances where a single person can also perform a task which could not be done by mass. Here comes the different believe where we the Hindu youth can devote and do a specific thing for our nation. There are many areas where still we need the educated ones. Still there are states where we hold more than 37 % illiteracy. If we travel the northeast we would get many harsh surprises. Such as, you need the inter country passport to go there. You may be asked that “Are you from India?” This question is from our own brothers from northeast. More situations are there when you are tended to think that “Are we really in India?”
The northeast (Nagaland, Mizoram, Assam etc) is a part of India but the majority doesn’t behave so. There are many reasons for this reaction. But the fact is that it is happening so! The lack of many assets and resources tended them to be so. The literacy rate very low, many parts still are untouched from regular or so called 21th century life. The down side areas are fully undeveloped. Still they have travel through the mountains for there needs. The basic medical facility is also not easily available there.  Some RSS peoples are managing this situation to make improvements. Other NGO’s are also working but still results are not satisfactory.
There are also some reasons behind this. As we know that there is an extremist Muslim group (we call them separatists) in Kashmir, who demands for the separate Kashmir. Here in northeast we come across the extremist christens who demands for the separate north east. There are many chances that they also support the bodo liberation movement (they are actually the bodo terrorists) who demands for the ‘bodo land’. These people use this all situation for there own sake and try to spread the hate and misguided messages for the young’s in northeast. Further this result in the BODO liberation movement.
If we see the today’s condition we may come across a brutal truth that the second Kashmir is taking birth there no it has taken. The reason why we don’t know all this is, because the media is totally partial regarding this issue. We make a call for the Hindu youths that please try to know these situations and give you’re at least one year for the sake of our nation. In this we can perform many tasks which would help to prevent the future separation.

Burning Kashmir! (Comment 1)
It is not the story of these few days but nearly 200 yrs ago it holds the history. The separatists are trying there level best to break this part form India and make the new Islamic nation. They got some what success by creating the Pakistan followed by the Bangladesh. Now they are moving on to the Kashmir. Why all this is done by them? What is the need to do this? It is only the ‘JIHAD’ which is followed by the extremists Muslims in India and world wide. In Kashmir already lakhs of Kashmiri pandits had been thrown out by these JIHADIS. There women’s were gang raped. There houses, there business and every thing created and owned by Kashmiri pandits was captured by these JIHADIS.
What was there fault? It was the fault that they were ‘Hindus’. It is not only the Kashmir but there are many parts of our country where these peoples are trying to make it there province. Where every Hindu is treated like an animal and is Harassed in the name of religion. Why??? We the peoples, the Hindus who created and developed this land, the past, its present and it future. Why should we being treated like this in our own land….our motherland. Who are these peoples asking for the separated Kashmir land. We are not saying that every Muslim is terrorist but every religious terrorist (blind followers of religion and fight for it) is a Muslim.
This movement is mostly supported by the Pakistan and ISI (Inter Service Intelligence). The funds, weapons, every assets they need to create the hatred in every Kashmiri is provided by them. They not only created the hatred but also tends them to be a traitor. They are the peoples who eat here and pray for there !! Why still we are not asking the questions…Why?
Here the political situation is totally different from any other part in country, because though the congress and BJP has some seats in Kashmir but the political hold is not that much as of regional parties. This is also a reason due to which this part is establishing the autonomous system and trying to separate it from the Central and national constitutional system. The separatists has much strong hold in the majority Kashmir which leads many difficulties to the govt. system itself. We can only say that still Kashmir is the part of India only due to special rights which are given to the Indian military. Which makes the military strong enough to fight this situation till now.
Today it is the question for the Kashmir but in future it could happen in Bangladesh and some what it is being done by these separatists. Is this a country or a company, in which everyone wants its share?  Shame on us, when we think about our carrier and our future in such situation. Who are we? Are we Indian? Or only the peoples who eat to live or live to eat. Are we humans or animals ? Ask it !!
